We are now looking for a certified teacher for the 4-6 working group at Stenungsund Montessori School.

Stenungsund Montessori School is an independent school run by a non-profit association. We consist of two units, a preschool and a primary school with grades F-9, as well as an after-school program. We have about 210 students in grades F-9. The school is located in the central part of Stenungsund, just a few meters from the bus and train station.

You are primarily qualified to teach Swedish and English in grades 4-6. It is an advantage if you have qualifications up to grade 7 or 9 in one or more subjects.

We work with the idea that student health starts in the classroom. The students' safe and positive relationship with us adults contributes to security, study focus, and high goal achievement. This means that we have a very calm and safe learning environment where each student has the opportunity to develop on an individual level.

We are proud to be a Montessori school. We see that the students' development both academically and socially has a very fine progression due to our adherence to Montessori pedagogy. If you have Montessori training, it is an advantage, but it is not a barrier to apply for the position if you do not have the training but are interested in further education. The school offers every employee the opportunity to complete Montessori training. The school covers the costs and the time needed for quality education.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the start date for the position will be agreed upon, but no later than the start of the school year in August 2026.
