We are Sweden's largest elite sports high school and have a close collaboration with Bernadottegymnasiet.

Together, the schools have about 1300 students, of which approximately half are elite sports students. One of our missions is to provide these sports talents with excellent opportunities to combine elite training and studies. Students at Katrinelundsgymnasiet and Bernadottegymnasiet study economics, social sciences, technology, sales and service, as well as natural sciences programs. We also have hearing classes. At our schools, you will meet engaged and knowledgeable colleagues and students.

Job Responsibilities

We currently have a vacant position for teaching mathematics in combination with another subject.

The teaching will primarily take place in the Social Science program and includes mentorship for a class. You will support, motivate, and stimulate students to reach their knowledge goals based on their individual conditions. You will work together with teaching colleagues and other staff to ensure that our students and staff have a good learning and working climate.

The position is a permanent employment. The extent depends on the subject combination. You will be employed at Bernadottegymnasiet but may also work towards Katrinelundsgymnasiet.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching license. You are qualified to teach mathematics combined with another subject at the high school level. Previous experience working as a high school teacher is an advantage. You are attentive and have the ability to explain problems and information pedagogically to different recipients and from different perspectives.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, understands the common mission, acts accordingly, and contributes to the whole. You should also have the ability to make independent decisions within the framework of your assignment. Your digital competence is good, and you are comfortable using such tools and platforms for both teaching and administrative support.
