About the workplace

Förskolan Ute in Hjo is a small preschool with about 24 children, four educators, a principal, and a cook. We are a preschool that utilizes various outdoor and indoor environments in our pedagogical work to provide children with fun, developmental, and meaningful experiences. We work with the Friluftsfrämjandet's I Ur and Skurnätverk and create good conditions for outdoor life and outdoor education.

Participation, influence, and engagement permeate the preschool among children, parents, and staff. We see this as a prerequisite for us to collectively create a preschool characterized by joy, community, and exploratory learning. Environmental issues are important to us, and we invest in climate-smart food and gardening.

Job responsibilities

We are now looking for staff who can work as substitutes when the regular staff is absent. Examples of job responsibilities include participating in meal situations, reading books, and engaging in children's play and activities, etc. As a substitute, you are responsible for your work clothes, which should be suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. Keep in mind that we are outside in all weather!

Qualifications

It is important that you have a genuine interest in working with children. As a person, you are independent, responsible, and attentive; you can adapt your working methods to the needs of the organization, and you communicate clearly.

You must be at least 18 years old.

You should be able to speak and understand Swedish in both speech and writing.

We are looking for someone who is a trained childcare worker, studying the child and leisure program, or has another equivalent pedagogical education. However, even if you have other experience or an interest in working with children, you are welcome to apply.

Previous experience from work or internships in preschools or other work with people is highly meritorious.
