Female Personal Assistant Needed for 7-Year-Old Girl in Kode, Awake Night Shift Approximately 50%

We are looking for a female assistant for our daughter – a wise, strong, and beloved 7-year-old who needs security, presence, and a watchful eye around the clock.

About the Job:

You will work in our home in Kode, where you will become an integral part of our daily life. This is a role for someone who is attentive, secure, and has an inherent radar for the needs of others – especially when it comes to monitoring breathing and reading subtle signals. You need to be able to make quick decisions when necessary, but also have the patience to wait, follow along, and adapt to our daughter's rhythm.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with children, preferably as a personal assistant
• Knowledge of, for example, tube feeding, suctioning, cough machine, respiratory monitoring, and/or epilepsy
• A sensitivity to how children communicate without words
• The ability to blend into a family with siblings, routines, and a lot of love
• A willingness to travel occasionally – we cover the costs

Requirements:

• Driver's license + own car, as we live in the countryside outside Kode, without public transportation
• Good physical condition – some lifting is involved
• Very good Swedish in both spoken and written form

The Practicalities

• Night shifts are between 9-12 hours long, day shifts are somewhat shorter.
• The girl requires assistance around the clock, so it is important that you can be flexible
• The position starts as a temporary hourly employment, allowing us to get to know each other, and if we get along well, it may transition into a fixed-term employment as long as the assistance assignment lasts with a certain degree of service.

Employment Type:

You start as an hourly employee. If it clicks – which we hope – it can become a fixed-term employment as long as the assignment lasts.
