Talkative university student seeks a personal assistant at 60%

The working hours are scheduled both during the day, in the evenings, on weekends, and overnight on-call shifts, on a rolling schedule. The workplace is wherever I am, which can mean being at home, at school, or somewhere completely different.

My name is Elin, and I am 23 years old. I live in Torslanda with my mom, dad, and our dogs. Right now, I am looking for a new assistant; could it be you?

I am studying the HR Master's program at the University of Gothenburg. In my free time, I am a jack-of-all-trades with a great passion for role-playing games, board games, various crafts, as well as cooking and baking or playing a song on my keyboard. I enjoy going out for coffee or having a nice dinner with friends.

Why am I looking for an assistant? I have a muscle disease called SMA type 2, which means I need help with everything practical, from hygiene and physiotherapy to whisking eggs and retrieving overly thick books. Lifting aids are available, but you should not have any back problems as the work can still be physically demanding.

What I am looking for in you as an assistant? You need to have good Swedish, as instructions are given orally. You should also be comfortable transitioning between active work and just being nearby, as the amount of help I need at any moment depends on what I am doing. You also need to be organized and punctual and not smell of smoke during work hours.

What is not required is experience; you will learn everything on-site and will be introduced with another assistant. The most important thing is that we enjoy each other's company; it is usually easier to spend time with someone if you can also have a good time together.

The position starts as a temporary employment that can then lead to a fixed-term employment as long as the assistance assignment lasts, provided we get along. I hire assistants on an ongoing basis, so do not wait to send in your application!
