Social Worker for Children and Youth Services

– Help shape the future of social services

Sotenäs municipality is looking for a social worker for the children and youth services.

We are a relatively small organization with short decision-making paths, great trust, and a clear mission: to transition to a more preventive, accessible, and collaborative social service in line with the new Social Services Act.

Your responsibilities

As a social worker with us, you will work with both authority exercise and the development of early and coordinated interventions. The tasks may vary over time but include:

• Investigation and assessment of children's and young people's needs, focusing on both risk and protective factors
• Planning, implementation, and follow-up of interventions
• Conversations and relationship work with children, young people, and their networks.
• Close collaboration with schools, student health, the region, and other actors
• Active participation in development and transition work related to the new Social Services Act
