The social services sector is tasked with contributing to good living conditions throughout life for people residing in Härryda municipality. The sector is divided into five operational areas: Care and Support, Functional Support, Health and Assistance, Integration and Labor Market, Children and Family. Common to the sector is an administrative unit and a development and follow-up unit.
We are now looking for a project manager for 2026 to drive the Healthy Aging project. Healthy Aging is part of the social services sector's work to adapt to the new Social Services Act regarding, among other things, preventive and easily accessible work.
The position is placed in the Health Promotion unit, which is organized within the Health and Assistance operational area. The unit's mission is to offer preventive measures aimed at helping the target group maintain independence, health, and combat involuntary loneliness. Implementation occurs through measures without needs assessment, such as open senior meetings, group activities, advisory measures, and group support. The unit collaborates with various actors both internally and externally, such as associations, congregations, study associations, etc.
Within the unit, 8 employees work with roles such as leisure assistant, relative consultant, fixer, health navigator, and unit manager. Supporting the unit's activities is a large number of volunteers with volunteer assignments.
You will work closely with the unit manager for the health promotion unit and report to the steering group for Healthy Aging.
Your Mission
As a project manager, you will drive the work based on the developed action plan for Healthy Aging. The work is part of the administration's public health efforts and aims to promote an age-friendly society. The action plan is based on four thematic areas, and you will lead the work forward. You will lead the overall work forward. In certain sub-areas of the action plan, you will be responsible for the operational work. The assignment includes collaboration and cooperation with a range of actors such as associations and civil society, community planning, and actors within care and support in the municipality as well as health centers.
Requirements for the Position
- Experience in project management
- Relevant higher education with a focus on sociological social analysis or equivalent education
- Experience in collecting and analyzing demographic data.
- Ability to express oneself verbally and in writing
- Experience in collaboration with civil society and the association life
To obtain employment, a certificate from the Police's criminal record must be presented.
