We are looking for a Social Worker for the Adult Authority

We are looking for someone who wants to work with harmful use and dependence as well as violence in close relationships.

Description

The Adult Authority consists of a unit manager, a senior social worker, a housing coordinator, and social workers who handle financial support, reception of newcomers, housing issues, harmful use and dependence, social psychiatry, and violence in close relationships.

The position involves handling cases related to harmful use and dependence as well as violence in close relationships.

You need to have an interest in harmful use and dependence as well as relationship violence. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in these areas or other public authority work. Great emphasis is placed on your personal suitability for the role.

Responsibilities

Your main task is to investigate, assess, make decisions, and follow up on interventions for harmful use and dependence under SoL and LVM as well as violence in close relationships. The work involves qualified investigative work characterized by good reception, advice, well-founded decisions, and high legal certainty. The work also includes close collaboration with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in social work or equivalent education that meets the requirements for the position
• Good knowledge of legislation in the field
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
• Be flexible and resilient to stress
• Be collaborative but also have the ability to work independently
• Be able to see development opportunities
• Driver's license (B)
