Maintenance Engineer in Gothenburg

About the role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and following up on maintenance programs to ensure high operational reliability and productivity in our manufacturing facilities and equipment. The role involves close collaboration with production, engineering, purchasing, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance technical work
• Review and follow up on mechanical and electrical specifications
• Drive continuous improvements in maintenance and cost optimization
• Support and coordinate work with subcontractors and contractors
• Contribute to or develop standards and routines for operation, inspection, and maintenance
• Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of new equipment and systems
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and quality requirements

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is independent and takes responsibility for their tasks, while also being analytical and solution-oriented in their approach. You are structured and collaborate well with colleagues, and have the ability to communicate clearly and confidently when explaining technical issues. Ideally, you can start a new assignment at the beginning of March.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or production technology
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within maintenance, industry, or production
• Good technical understanding of mechanics and/or electricity
• Experience in improvement work and structured approaches
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
