Our client works with portable equipment within the industry and is now looking for a junior test engineer to join their R&D team. The role involves responsibility for testing and verification throughout the product development process, from requirements to finished product.

You will work with verification and validation against requirements, functionality, and use cases in close collaboration with design as well as electronics and software development. The work combines practical testing, analysis, and documentation. Tests are conducted in a lab environment, in the field, and together with users.

The role requires an interest in hands-on work. You will physically work with the product, for example through soldering and functionality testing. Since the team is relatively small, it is important that you enjoy working from a broad perspective, where personal responsibility and initiative are in focus.

More specifically, you will:

• Plan, execute, and document verification and validation tests
• Perform system, functionality, performance, and endurance tests
• Develop test equipment and test jigs
• Work with test-related software, primarily in Python
• Analyze measurement data and document test results
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results

• Has a vocational education as an electronics engineer or automation engineer
• Is technical and enjoys working hands-on with, for example, soldering or assembling and disassembling technical products
• Practical experience with lab equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope)
• Good knowledge of Python and Excel

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience with electromechanical or embedded systems
• Test automation
• CAD and/or 3D printing for test equipment
