TechServices IT is a consulting company that provides qualified IT consultants to companies with high demands for competence and quality. On behalf of our client in Gothenburg, we are now looking for a senior Network Engineer for a long-term assignment within global network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the organization's network infrastructure
• Ensure security, availability, and performance in both wired and wireless networks
• Work with solutions such as Cisco ISE and Catalyst Center or equivalent technologies
• Manage and further develop firewall solutions such as Fortigate and Palo Alto
• Work with SD-WAN and MPLS
• Work with monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation of network environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
• Very good knowledge of network protocols and technologies, especially 802.1X
• Experience in network monitoring and automation
• Experience in firewall management
• In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN and MPLS
• Very good English skills

Desirable

• Good understanding of network security including segmentation, NAC, firewalls, and zero trust
• Experience with SNMP, NetFlow, log management, and packet inspection
• Experience with enterprise wireless including design, implementation, and RF optimization
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python
• Familiarity with SDN and modern automation concepts

Scope

Full-time 40 hours per week

Remote work: approximately 25 to 40 percent

Assignment period: About 2 years
