As a land survey engineer, you have a strong drive to both develop and be developed. You enjoy working with rights and property issues. As a colleague, you are attentive to your surroundings and easily collaborate with others. You have good computer skills and can work systematically with several ongoing cases at the same time. Perhaps you want to step into a new industry – or you are newly graduated and ready to dive into water and sewage issues.

Referrals, detailed plans, and building permits

As a temporary land survey engineer, you will have a varied job. You will be responsible for ensuring that all referrals are handled on time and by the right person. This can involve everything from large detailed plans to smaller subdivisions and building permits. All to ensure that our planning for the future is as accurate and well-prepared as possible. Together with a colleague, you will work with easements, servitudes, and property purchases that we handle in our investigations and projects.

With us, you will be part of a team with 14 colleagues in the Investigation & Development department based at our office in Uddevalla. You will also collaborate with other colleagues within Västvatten on referral and rights issues – together you will ensure that our pipelines and water and sewage facilities are secured for the future.

Requirements

• Land survey engineer or similar education and experience that we assess as equivalent.
• Driver's license B
• Computer skills
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

The temporary position lasts for 14 months - from June 2026 to September 2027.
