We are now looking for a mechanical engineer for a high-tech company in the aerospace and defense industry. Here, you will work in a technology-driven environment where the development of advanced systems is at the center, contributing to vital societal functions.

In this role, you will be part of an engineering team working on the development and improvement of subsystems for advanced jet engines. The work includes both new development and further development of existing solutions and is carried out in close collaboration with production, testing, and other technical disciplines.

Examples of tasks:

• Design of load-bearing structures and control and installation details

• Integration of electronic components into mechanical systems

• Preparation of technical documentation such as drawings, models, and installation documentation

• Development of subsystems for various modules in jet engines

• Active participation in project work and technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders

You will work through several parts of the development process, from concept studies and design to technical documentation and product support. The organization works project-based, and collaboration occurs both cross-functionally and between different parts of the business. There are good opportunities for further development, for example, within technical specialist roles, technical leadership, or more strategic functions.

• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, mechanics, product development, or a related field

• At least five years of experience working as a mechanical designer

• Experience working in a CAD environment

Experience with the CAD tool Siemens NX and PLM systems such as Teamcenter or Active Workspace is an advantage. Experience with lightweight constructions in high-strength steel or composite materials is also valuable, as well as knowledge in design for additive manufacturing (AM/3D printing).

Salary: Fixed monthly salary
