Previous experience is desired
Join us in building the rescue boats of the future
Do you want to work in a role where technology, coordination, and an important societal mission meet?
The Swedish Sea Rescue Society is currently developing the next generation of rescue boats. Over the coming years, a large number of new boats will be built and delivered to our rescue stations across Sweden. We are now looking for a Technical Project Coordinator who wants to be part of this journey.
About the role
You will become a key link between our shipyards, the maritime department, and our rescue stations. The role involves creating structure, coordinating deliveries, and following the new construction process from production to the finished rescue boat.
You will work at the Swedish Sea Rescue Society's shipyard on Hönö, where our new boats are built, and will have many contact points both internally and externally.
Your responsibilities
Your tasks will include, among other things:
- Planning and coordinating deliveries of new rescue boats
- Monitoring production and ensuring quality throughout the entire process
- Coordinating warranty and defect cases
- Working with technical documentation and digital systems
- Supporting our rescue stations in connection with deliveries and training
- Contributing to the development of working methods and routines.
Who are you?
We believe you have at least three years of experience in project coordination or similar work in a technical or production-oriented environment. You have a technical interest, are structured, and enjoy collaborating with many different people.
You are proficient with computer systems, communicate fluently in Swedish and English, and hold a valid driver's license (Category B). Experience from marine operations, manufacturing industry, or CAD is an advantage.
Why choose us?
At the Swedish Sea Rescue Society, you become part of an organization where your work contributes to something greater. The number of missions for the Swedish Sea Rescue Society's volunteer rescuers is increasing. In 2025, they launched over 15,000 times. The new boats you help deliver will make a difference for many years to come.
We offer an engaged team, short decision-making paths, and the opportunity to help develop the rescue fleet of the future.
Location: Hönö and Långedrag.
