At Avaron, you get the security of permanent employment combined with the variety of working at different customers. We place specialists across everything from tech, IT and industry to project management and business support – and whatever the assignment, you have a consultant manager who is there for you and your development.
About the RoleYou will join a fast-growing battery analytics environment at the center of automotive electrification, where long-term cell performance is critical for future vehicle programs. The focus of this role is to build understanding of battery cell durability through test planning, coordination, data follow-up, and analysis. You will help turn large amounts of test data into practical engineering insights that influence durability requirements, life prediction work, and usage strategies.
You will work closely with internal labs, external test partners, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams in areas such as CAE, cell design, and integration. That gives you a broad view of how battery cell behaviour connects to the complete vehicle, from early concept work to release. This is a strong opportunity if you want to combine hands-on testing, data analysis, and Li-ion technology in a field where there is still a lot to shape and improve.
Job Description- You will plan, coordinate, and follow up battery cell durability tests together with internal and external labs.
- You will secure, structure, and review test data from suppliers, in-house labs, and external test partners.
- You will analyze cell test data and present clear conclusions on performance, ageing behaviour, and durability trends.
- You will support the development of test matrices, test codes, and follow-up routines for durability work.
- You will contribute to deliveries in vehicle projects, including requirement follow-up, service life targets, and usage strategy discussions.
- You will collaborate closely with suppliers and engineering teams in CAE, cell design, and integration.
- You will prepare and feed relevant cell data into simulation and visualization tools.
- You will help improve test methods, analysis tools, documentation, and ways of working while building deeper knowledge in life prediction and future cell technologies.
- An engineering degree, or equivalent experience, in electrochemistry, materials science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, data science, or a related field.
- Practical experience from testing, measurements, laboratory work, data analysis, or validation of batteries, cells, components, or similar technical systems.
- A genuine interest in Li-ion battery cells and automotive electrification.
- The ability to work in a structured way with test data and turn results into clear engineering conclusions.
- The ability to document results clearly and communicate findings to different stakeholders.
- Ability to complete a background check before start.
- Experience using Python, MATLAB, Excel, or similar tools for structuring and analyzing test data.
- Understanding of battery cell behaviour, electrochemistry, degradation, ageing, or cell design.
- Experience from battery cell testing, durability testing, test rigs, data acquisition, or supplier test data.
- Experience from automotive electrification.
- Permanent employment at Avaron AB
- Occupational pension
- Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year
