About the role:

In the role of Technical Project Leader, you represent the R&D functions within the project team and will also coordinate the technical activities within the project. In this role, you are responsible for product design, development, validation, and verification, and you manage the coordination with customers. You will also have overall responsibility for the individuals in the project team, which requires experience in good leadership skills within large teams. It is of great importance that you can communicate effectively and precisely with different roles in the value chain. The role also includes calculating the costs and time that will be invested in the project. The focus is on hardware, but you also need to have a basic understanding of software. You will also be responsible for meeting requirements and needs from both customers and the internal organization, as well as implementing technical requirements within both the product and process areas.

The position is a resident role, meaning you will be employed by AUMOVIO but primarily work on-site at one of the customers AUMOVIO works with.

Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or a comparable field.
  • 4–6 years of work experience in the automotive industry, electronics industry, or another relevant field.
  • Relevant project experience in at least two projects.
  • Several years of experience in R&D as a technical expert.
  • At least 2–3 years of work experience as a Technical Project Leader or project manager in a relevant field.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Merits:

  • Knowledge of relevant standards, processes, regulations, and internal decision-making processes within the industry.
  • Knowledge regarding risk analysis, risk management, and development processes.
  • Experience with HPC (high performance computing).
  • Experience in developing embedded systems.
  • Product and technology-specific knowledge.
  • Familiarity with design and product validation, including qualification tests and processes.
  • Leadership skills regarding how to communicate and present proposals, how to give feedback, conflict management techniques, and coaching.

Location: Gothenburg (may shift between different companies)

Salary: According to agreement
