In this role, you have an overarching functional responsibility within the energy area and work closely with colleagues in the organization. You report directly to the Property Manager and are part of the department's management team.

Your assignment

In the role of Energy Engineer, you are responsible for the company's control and monitoring with the aim of ensuring reliable and energy-optimized properties. You are responsible for ensuring the company has the right technical prerequisites to energy-optimize our properties and neighborhood squares. You work long-term to identify, plan, and initiate energy-saving measures and investments that reduce our energy consumption.

Your main tasks include:

• Operational Optimization: Analyze energy data to find deviations and optimize control and regulation systems (heating, ventilation, cooling) on our squares and properties. Handling complex operational disturbances.
• SRÖ (Technical Standards): Responsible for the technical standard and operational environment.
• Energy Plan and Projects: Responsible for the energy plan and initiate projects within the energy area such as solar cell installations, lighting (which also contributes to increased safety on the squares), heat recovery, and other energy-saving measures.
• Project Support: Participate in projects as support in technical matters.
• Collaboration & Follow-up: Work closely with our Commercial and Technical Property Managers on-site at our properties and be responsible for energy follow-up and regulatory requirements.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have:

• At least three years of experience in operational optimization, energy efficiency, and energy work in commercial properties or from a comparable role.
• An engineering degree in energy, property technology, or another relevant area, or equivalent work experience assessed by the employer as comparable.
• Experience with, or good knowledge of, the design and procurement of solar cell installations as well as other energy efficiency and investment projects.
• Good knowledge of property automation as well as control and regulation technology.
• A B driver's license, as the position involves travel between our properties and neighborhood squares in Gothenburg.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you are a technically knowledgeable and business-minded person with a genuine interest in sustainable development and energy efficiency. You have a good understanding of how technical solutions can create economic, environmental, and social value.

Since a large part of the work takes place on-site at our properties and neighborhood squares, you enjoy being present in the operations and collaborating with different functions. You are used to driving your work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to turn analyses into concrete improvement measures.

We also see that you have solid experience in sustainability and energy issues related to commercial properties. As a person, you are communicative, receptive, and have an easy time building good relationships. You collaborate well with others and enjoy dialogue with both colleagues, suppliers, and external partners.
