On behalf of our client, Coor is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of one of Sweden's most well-known manufacturing industries. We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer / Asset Manager who wants to contribute to high operational reliability, long-term value creation, and the development of the facility's technical assets.
You will become part of an engaged team working closely with the client's engineers and specialists in a business characterized by advanced technology, automation, and high demands for availability.

About the Role
As a Maintenance Engineer / Asset Manager, you play a key role in developing and optimizing the management of the facility's technical assets. You work strategically to ensure high operational reliability, well-founded maintenance decisions, and long-term value creation.
The role combines technology, analysis, and business acumen. Together with the client's specialists and Coor's operations, you develop maintenance strategies, analyze risks, and create decision support materials that contribute to the future development of the facility.
You drive improvement work, challenge existing ways of working, and contribute to the development of Asset Management within Coor.
Responsibilities
- Develop long-term maintenance plans to ensure the functionality, operational reliability, and lifespan of the facilities.
- Conduct condition assessments, criticality, and lifecycle analyses.
- Create decision support and recommendations for maintenance measures and technical improvements.
- Ensure quality in facility data and maintenance information.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide technical support to the operations and maintenance organization.
- Collaborate with the client's engineers and technical specialists.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have experience in maintenance, facility management, or Asset Management in a technically complex operation. You are driven by analyzing, developing, and improving, while also having the ability to translate technical insights into long-term and business-oriented decisions.
As a person, you are structured, analytical, and self-initiating. You build trust through collaboration and thrive in a role with many contact points where you can combine specialist competence with business development.
We would like you to have
- A university degree in technology, such as mechanical engineering, maintenance technology, production technology, automation, electrical power, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Asset Management, maintenance strategy, or facility management.
- Experience from manufacturing industry or other operations with high demands on operational reliability and availability.
- Good understanding of technical systems, installations, and facilities.
- Experience with CMMS systems, preferably Maximo.
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
