AUMOVIO is a global technology company within the automotive industry that develops, produces, and delivers various products and solutions for future vehicles. We work, among other things, on developing assistance systems, displays, comfort systems, braking and motion systems, as well as advanced sensor solutions.
We operate in a rapidly changing market and are built on traditions within the automotive industry. Our goal is to powerfully shape the mobility of the future together with our customers worldwide. We have over 93,000 employees in more than 50 countries, and our driving force is to create value through innovation, collaboration, and high operational performance.
About the role:
In this role, you will become the technical representative for the electrical engineering activities in Sweden, and you will serve as the link between different functions within the organization. The position also involves supporting the design and development of the next generation of high-performance computer architecture (HPC) and software-defined vehicle architectures (SDV). You will define scalable and future-proof E/E system architectures to enable centralized data processing, high-speed communication, and software-driven functionality across vehicle platforms. Furthermore, you are responsible for driving requirements breakdown and clarifying E/E architecture requirements in close collaboration with the customer, as well as translating these into technical development priorities. You will work cross-functionally between hardware, software, and system teams to ensure system integration between hardware, software, computing platforms, and vehicle networks. The role also involves close coordination with the customer.
The position is a resident role, meaning you will be employed by AUMOVIO but primarily work on-site at one of the customers that AUMOVIO works with.
About you:
To thrive in this role, we see that you are a person who combines a deep technical interest in future vehicle architecture with a natural ability to build professional relationships. You are motivated by being the hub in the network and thrive best when you get to act as a bridge between complex development teams and the customer's specific needs. You are good at seeing the big picture and can understand different contexts and structures. You have a good ability to build trust, manage stakeholders, and translate customer needs into clear technical priorities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a comparable field.
- 10 years of experience in automotive technology development.
- Good knowledge of E/E architectures and HPC platforms (SoC, GPU-based systems) with exposure to vehicle networks (Automotive Ethernet, CAN, etc.).
- Understanding of SoC, GPU, accelerators, memory hierarchies, bandwidth limitations, and thermal implications.
- Understanding of cross-functional development in an international environment.
- Understanding of coordination between system, software, test, quality, and project management functions.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred qualifications:
- Background in Body / vehicle control units and/or battery management systems for electric vehicles.
- Fluent in Swedish.
- Experience with agile development methods, structured problem solving, and release-oriented development work.
