Job Description

Do you want to be part of a global industry with expansive growth and world-leading technology development? We are facing exciting challenges and are now looking for several production engineers! As a production engineer (PME) within Rotating Parts, you will work in a team within a value stream where your mission is, together with your team, to ensure that we deliver the right quality, at the right cost, and on time. Within the Rotating Parts business area, we manufacture and deliver rotating components to customers such as GE, P&W, KHI, and the Swedish Air Force. Rotating products are classified as the core of the aircraft engine and the requirements are the absolute highest. Tight tolerances and sometimes frozen manufacturing processes impose high demands on robustness and automation. You will work daily to ensure quality and delivery as well as more long-term to implement planned improvement projects.

Rotating Parts is in an expansive phase with several sharp offers out to our customers while existing programs are growing, which will require investments and startups of new equipment where Production Technology plays a central role. You will coordinate activities related to tool manufacturing, tool design, production preparation, method technology, and CAM/NC.

• The focus is on robustness and zero defects, which we achieve through a mindset with 100% focus on quality and with the help of quality tools such as PFMEA, SPC, and Problem Solving.
• Strong teams are fundamental to achieving our goals, so you will contribute both with your expertise, curiosity, and team spirit to create a working environment with a winning culture.
• You will have close dialogue with operators and other engineers in daily work and participate in discussions with customers regarding production technology issues.
• You will participate in technology development and industrialize new methods, processes, and working methods to meet strategies within the area and on the product.

Qualifications

• Academic bachelor's degree, higher education, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience
• Team player with a winning attitude!

• Fearless and self-sufficient ability
• Fact-oriented and analytical ability
• Knowledge of quality tools such as PFMEA, SPC, Problem Solving
• Swedish and English in speech and writing
