Do you currently hold the role of welding manager and are considering developing your leadership skills? We offer you the opportunity to take on the operational leadership for our welding department of about 8 people while ensuring that we meet the established requirements within applicable standards such as ISO 3834.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Ensure daily operations and lead morning meetings with daily management

• Lead, develop, and create conditions for your production team

• Coordinate all work related to welder qualifications, WPQR, and WPS.

• Be responsible and represent the company in audits and certifications within the welding area

• Develop work methods and functions within the welding responsibility area

• Recruitment and training of staff

• Actively contribute to the company's continued growth through improvement work together with other functions

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has at least a technical high school education and additional courses and certifications in welding (IWS/IWT). You have experience with quality management systems, WPQR and WPS processes, various welding methods, materials, requirements, and standards. You are a clear leader who acts attentively and with humility while driving and engaging your team. You contribute your expertise and create a dynamic and team spirit with the group that motivates everyone to achieve the goals set for the department. To thrive in the company, you need to enjoy change, be solution-oriented, and drive improvements. We hope that structure and order are close to your heart. Experience in penetrant testing and/or magnetic particle testing is considered a significant plus.

You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing, and are accustomed to working in a larger business system, preferably Monitor, as well as the Office suite.
