About the Role

We offer you the opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and business drive to work on future sustainable community projects. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have a solid technical background in rock engineering combined with a drive for collaboration and business, an ambition to advance technology, and find it exciting and challenging to see how future rock engineering will develop. You will have dedicated colleagues with extensive experience and an organization whose expertise spans a variety of technical areas. If you are our new technical lead rock engineer/geologist, you will belong to the Geo and Rock Engineering unit at Ramboll.

As our new technical lead rock engineer/geologist, you will be part of our journey where the focus is on understanding future needs, both in terms of technical and digital competence, and then translating that into new business opportunities for our clients. We are looking for someone who is driven to work on exciting projects where you will be close to clients and contractors. We work on some of Sweden's largest rock projects, such as Västlänken in Gothenburg, the Yellow Line in Stockholm, and the Norrbotniabanan in the north, but we also have many smaller projects. We collaborate multidisciplinary at Ramboll - both nationally and internationally.

At Ramboll, we believe that sustainable people create sustainable communities, which is why we constantly work on issues related to leadership, health, safety, and a good balance between work, family life, and leisure.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Technical lead for rock in our assignments
  • Reviewer for more junior colleagues
  • Project management for small or medium-sized assignments
  • Contact with clients regarding rock issues

Develop Together with Us

When you become a part of Ramboll, we will do our best to support you in your personal and professional development. To succeed in this role, we believe that:

  • You have 8 years of experience in rock engineering,
  • You have been the technical lead in at least 2 rock assignments,
  • You are educated in the Nordic bedrock,
  • You have a master's degree in rock engineering, geology, or equivalent,

It is an advantage if you have experience in bidding and marketing work, have worked on large multidisciplinary assignments for Trafikverket/FUT and their governing documents, have documented experience with AMA and the preparation of construction documents/FU, and enjoy conversations with clients.

You are a person whose drive is to achieve results and goals in assignments that provide value to the client. Thanks to your technical focus and collaborative ability, you succeed in meeting our clients' demands and delivering solutions tailored to tomorrow's society. You are flexible and thrive when challenged in interesting projects that involve both local and international collaboration. For you to grow, develop, and stay motivated, you appreciate leadership that supports, coaches, and includes you in strategic decisions.
