Senior Process Engineer at AFRY – together we create a more sustainable process industry

Do you want to help shape the future of the sustainable process industry – in a team where knowledge is generously shared, where people are uplifted, and where we develop together? At AFRY, we continue our commitment to a more sustainable industry and are facing many exciting projects. Therefore, we are now looking for more engaged senior process engineers who want to become an important part of our growing community.

Your Role – Where Your Expertise Makes a Difference
As a Process Engineer with us, you will be involved in both small and larger assignments where you contribute to designing process design, functional descriptions, sizing, and specifications for process technical installations and equipment. You will work on projects characterized by clear working methods, quality, and care – supported by our established project model and well-functioning routines.

Your closest network consists of about 50 competent and helpful process engineers who are happy to share experiences and support both assignments and development. Together, we work on modernizing and optimizing production facilities, increasing capacity, or creating entirely new production lines. We deliver everything from expert support to complete functional commitments. In 2026, we are facing several exciting project starts, and we are looking for you who want to contribute with drive, care, and the will to make a difference.

Our clients operate in a wide range of industrial sectors, with strong focus areas such as process industry, chemicals, petrochemicals, bio-refinery, batteries, circular processes, CCS/CCU, and hydrogen/Power-to-X.

To Succeed in the Role, We Believe You Have:

• A Master's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in process design, preferably from projects within the process industry.
• Good experience working in project form.

It is a merit if you have experience in petrochemicals, bio-refinery, plastic recycling, hydrogen, or CCS/CCU.

You also need to have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license as travel is required.
