We are now looking for an antenna engineer who wants to work with cutting-edge technology at our client's office in Gothenburg. Our partner is a leading product company in the defense industry, active in many technical areas for the safety of people in society.

Here, you will be part of an experienced team that works on the development of antennas for advanced systems, from early concept studies to finished products and verification.

The role is broad and offers the opportunity to work through the entire development chain. The focus is on the early phases with design, simulation, and technical trade-offs, but you will also follow your solution through verification and testing.

Examples of tasks:

• Develop antennas from concept to finished solution

• Conduct simulations in areas such as electromagnetics and microwave technology

• Participate in the development of requirements, design choices, and technical specifications

• Work with measurement and verification in various phases of development

• Develop analysis methods, measurement systems, and test solutions (HW/SW)

The work is carried out in close collaboration with other disciplines such as systems, mechanics, and circuit board design. The team is characterized by knowledge sharing and a shared responsibility for the whole, where there are good opportunities to develop in areas such as simulation, distribution networks, or measurement technology.

We see that you have:

• Engineering degree in technical physics, electrical engineering, or equivalent

• Knowledge in microwave technology, electromagnetics, or antenna theory

• Experience in simulation and analysis, for example in Matlab or similar tools

• Understanding of both hardware and software in development and testing environments

Experience with tools such as Ansys HFSS or LabView and previous work with antennas or RF-related systems is a merit.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary
