Become a key player in our client's flat-structured Nordic team where you handle complex logistics for two markets. You will be offered a role with extensive contact surfaces and the opportunity to optimize processes in a dynamic environment.

About the role

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you are responsible for balancing inventory status and purchasing needs for Sweden and Denmark. You act as the central link between inside sales, sales representatives, and production to ensure optimal delivery capability. The role includes travel to Nordic countries, approximately 2-3 times per year.

The position is a fixed-term consultancy assignment starting in mid-August until October 2027. During this period, you will be employed as a consultant by Academic Work.

Responsibilities

The role involves operational responsibility for the supply chain, where you ensure correct inventory levels and efficient flows through data analysis and close collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Work with advanced data analysis in Excel to optimize flows
  • Analyze needs and create purchase proposals for the Nordic market
  • Manage and monitor inventory status in SAP for two countries
  • Initiate and follow up on purchase orders with production
  • Maintain daily contact with inside sales, sales representatives, and car importers
  • Identify and implement improvements to automate processes
  • Ensure production schedules are followed to meet customer needs

We are looking for someone who has

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and its formulas
  • Experience from a similar role where you have handled large amounts of data related to the Supply Chain process
  • Good knowledge of SAP or other business systems (ERP)
  • Ability to analyze large datasets with a critical approach
  • Good proficiency in both Swedish and English

It is meritorious if you have

  • Experience from the automotive industry
  • Background in complex logistics organizations or planning
  • Experience in customer reception or service-oriented work
