As an Operations Logistician with process responsibility at Swedfarm, you will become a key person in optimizing flows, driving improvements, and ensuring efficient production – from egg to pullet.
Your Future Employer
Swedfarm has a long history dating back to the 1940s. Over the years, the company has developed and is now a market leader. We sell chickens and pullets to Sweden's egg industry, as well as equipment and complete systems for poultry and broiler production to customers throughout the poultry industry. We collaborate with leading suppliers and provide professional advice to customers in the industry.
The operational operations are located just outside Herrljunga, where we have our own breeding and rearing houses, a modern hatchery, and our logistics unit. The headquarters, including warehouse, sales, and support functions, are located in Linghem.
Swedfarm was a family-owned company for many years, but is now owned by the MRefine Group together with our CEO, Mikael Mörk.
What Does the Role Offer?
As an Operations Logistician with process responsibility, you will have a central role in a business where planning, logistics, and production work together to ensure an efficient flow – from egg to pullet. You will work close to the operations and become an important part of developing processes, analyzing flows, and creating conditions for even more efficient production. The role offers great variety and many contact points where you will have the opportunity to influence both daily work and long-term development.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Optimizing and monitoring production and logistics flows throughout the entire operation.
- Identifying deviations, analyzing causes, and driving improvement measures.
- Participating in production planning, breeding planning, and preparing data for future breeding groups.
- Producing statistics, analyses, and key figures to support business decisions.
- Developing and updating processes, support documents, and routines.
- Serving as a daily support for operational activities regarding production and logistics.
- Working closely with colleagues in production, transport, planning, and management to ensure efficient flows.
You will become part of an engaged team of three people, where you jointly are responsible for planning, transport logistics, and production. The role is also part of the local management group and offers a thorough introduction as well as ongoing training within the business.
Who Are You?
We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in production logistics, logistics, quality management, or another relevant area, or equivalent work experience. You have a few years of experience in production logistics, process development, or similar tasks and thrive in a business where analysis, planning, and continuous improvements are in focus.
You have very good skills in Excel and are accustomed to working with statistics, analyses, and key figures. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, have a B driver's license, and access to your own car.
As a person, you are analytical, solution-oriented, and structured. You thrive in a complex business where conditions can change quickly and have the ability to reprioritize when the situation requires it. Communication is one of your strongest tools, and you find it easy to collaborate with many different functions. Experience from food production, agriculture, or other animal-related activities is meritorious but not a requirement.
Is This Your Perfect Match?
At Swedfarm, you become part of a socially important business where animal health and quality are always at the center. Here you are offered a broad and developmental role with significant personal responsibility, where you get to work close to the operations and help develop future production and logistics processes.
You will work in a family-like and non-hierarchical company where collaboration, improvement work, and engagement permeate everyday life. If you appreciate a varied role where no day is like the other, enjoy analyzing, creating structure, and contributing to the business's development, then you will thrive at Swedfarm.
