Background

Do you want to work with electrical design in one of Gothenburg's largest infrastructure projects? At Gryaab, you will help develop Nya Rya – a billion-dollar investment designed to secure future wastewater treatment for the entire region. Here, you will work from preliminary design to the completed facility alongside experienced colleagues in a business that makes a difference for both people and the environment.

The work within Nya Rya is divided into four stages, and the program is currently in the preliminary design phase. The goal is for the expanded and upgraded treatment plant to be ready by 2036 to meet future treatment requirements and societal needs.

Responsibilities

As an Electrical Designer within Nya Rya, you will work with electrical design throughout the entire project lifecycle – from preliminary design and detailed design to the commissioning of the finished facility.

Examples of tasks include:

• Creating and updating electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Participating as an electrical specialist in project groups
• Collaborating with project managers, consultants, and contractors
• Ensuring solutions meet technical requirements and industry standards
• Participating in testing, verification, and commissioning
• Leading smaller sub-projects within the electrical field as needed

You will also collaborate with other people at Gryaab who work with electrical design and may perform certain tasks at the existing facility. Opportunities for mentoring and experience sharing with existing staff are available.

You belong to the Large Projects department and report to the department manager. The group is characterized by high engagement, high competence, dynamism, and curiosity.

Qualifications

We like to meet the technical challenges of wastewater management together with other competencies in a practical and long-term sustainable way.

We are looking for you who have:

• Upper secondary education in electricity and ECY certificate
• Experience in electrical design or electrical engineering
• Good understanding of industrial electrical systems
• Ability to read process flow diagrams and technical drawings
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

It is meritorious if you have:

• Several years of experience as an electrician
• University education in electrical engineering
• Experience from process industry or larger facility projects
• Experience with Cadett Elsa and/or Comos
• Experience with contracting and contract issues

To succeed in the role, you work in a structured and methodical manner. You have good collaboration skills and thrive when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. You communicate clearly and contribute to a positive work climate by sharing knowledge and experiences.
