About the role

In the role of Automation Technician, you are an important part of our Automation team, programming PLC programs for our customer projects. You are involved from project initiation to the handover of the facility to the customer. You work in a team together with mechanical and electrical designers, where you are responsible for programming and commissioning. We use Siemens PLCs and program in TIA Portal. When the oven facility is ready for testing, you are the one doing I/O checks in the workshop and responsible for testing all functions. You also travel to customer sites for on-site commissioning.

The role includes the following tasks:

• PLC programming
• HMI programming
• Testing and commissioning in the workshop and at the customer
• Training during commissioning (at the customer and/or digitally)
• Creation of technical documentation for control systems
• Technical support for control systems

Requirements

• Experience with Siemens programming in TIA Portal
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish
