Job Description

In this role as an Inspection Engineer at AFRY, you will work with electrical revision inspections in combination with other power-related areas such as construction inspections, testing, or measurements.

We support not only external customers but also the various divisions within AFRY with our specialist competence in power engineering and inspection. This means you will have both internal and external collaboration partners in your daily work. You will work with various types of projects and assignments, which will be driven by your competence, the customer's needs, as well as your personal ambition and development plan. Our section offers you exciting and challenging tasks in a friendly team that welcomes more power engineering colleagues.

Required Knowledge and Experience

Must-haves

• Authorized by the Swedish Fire Protection Association's Electrical Committee (Brandskyddsföreningen Elektriska Nämnden), as this is required to work with electrical revision inspections.
• Post-secondary education in power engineering or electricity.
• Substantial experience working in the electrical industry, for example as an electrician or within power engineering.
• Category B driver's license, as travel is a natural part of your role.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as communication with customers and colleagues is a natural part of the work.

Since our services may involve working in security-classified areas, drug testing and security checks may be required before employment can begin. For all recruitments at AFRY, an ID check, reference checks, and verification of education are always conducted prior to employment.
