Knightec Group is investing heavily in Data & AI and is now looking for a Databricks Architect who wants to help build our offering. Here you will have a key role where you combine technical leadership and customer dialogue to establish Gothenburg as a strong hub for Data and AI.

Responsibilities

You will become part of Knightec's business area Software & Cloud, where we in Gothenburg are about 180 competent and engaged colleagues. As a Databricks Architect, you will be a key driver in both projects and the development of our Data & AI initiative.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Architecture and implementation of modern data platforms on Databricks
• Work in cloud platforms such as AWS
• Technical lead in customer projects
• Pre-sales and customer dialogues
• Build and develop our partnership with Databricks
• Participate in recruiting and coaching future Data Engineers and Architects
• Define best practices, governance, and delivery methodology

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who combines deep technical competence with consultative skills and business understanding. You are used to taking responsibility for complex solutions and feel comfortable in dialogue with both customers and partners.

We believe you have:

• Competence in Databricks Architecture
• Background in Data Engineering
• Good understanding of cloud platforms, where AWS is strongly meritorious
• Experience with solution architecture
• Interest in working close to customers and contributing to pre-sales
• Experience in technical leadership, for example as Tech Lead, Architect, or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written

Meritorious if you also have experience with:

• Unity Catalog
• Delta Lake
• dbt
• Terraform
• AI/ML on Databricks

Practical Information

This is a full-time position, located at our office in Gothenburg, Lindolmsallén 2. Travel in the role may occur to our customers. Start date is as soon as possible or by agreement.
