Do you thrive working close to production and are driven by improving processes and solving technical challenges? Then this might be the role for you! We are now looking for a Production Technician with a focus on electronics assembly and electronic testing for Lumibird Photonics Sweden in Gothenburg.
About the role:
Friday is recruiting on behalf of Lumibird Photonics Sweden for a Production Technician who wants to help develop the company's electronics production. You will become part of a production technology team where you work closely with operators, quality, production, and R&D to ensure efficient and quality-assured manufacturing processes.
The role is broad and varied. You will largely work on developing and improving production methods, supporting production with technical challenges, and ensuring that new products can be produced efficiently. You will work on both long-term improvement projects and quick problem-solving when production needs support.
Examples of tasks:
- Develop and improve methods and processes within electronics production.
- Work with continuous improvement to increase quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production problems and develop corrective actions.
- Validate and update production methods and associated documentation.
- Collaborate closely with R&D to ensure that new products can be produced in production.
- Provide technical support to production and work closely with operators in daily work.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a few years of experience in production technology work.
- Has a good understanding of electronics assembly, soldering, and cabling.
- Has previously driven improvement work within production.
- Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in the work.
It is not necessary, but meritorious if you have:
- Experience in electronic or optical testing.
- Worked with process development and Lean or other improvement methods.
- Experience from the defense industry or other high-tech manufacturing.
Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities. To succeed in the role, we believe you are a solution-oriented and non-hierarchical person who enjoys being out in the operations together with production. You have a technical interest, are structured in your approach to work, and enjoy driving improvements while having an easy time collaborating with people in different functions.
