About the Role As a Mechanical Engineer/Certification Engineer within product certification, you will become part of an engaged and supportive team of 25 employees, including engineers and administrators, in a developmental and non-hierarchical work environment.

As a Mechanical Engineer/Certification Engineer, you work with the entire certification process, from customer dialogue and planning to technical review and final certificate. The role is both analytical and communicative, perfect for you who enjoy combining technology and relationship building.

The role includes among other things:

• Evaluating and reviewing technical documentation
• Evaluating and reviewing test results
• Verifying compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Following up on technical questions together with customers and internal specialists
• Driving and planning assignments independently

The work spans product areas such as safety products, packaging, anti-theft and burglary protection products, as well as construction products.

If you wish, the role can also include work as a quality auditor. In this case, you visit manufacturing companies certified by RISE to review their production processes and quality systems. You plan and conduct your audits independently, and the scope is as agreed.

Audits as a quality auditor take place both in Sweden and internationally, which involves travel, meetings with many different companies, and a chance to discover new environments and cultures. It is a developmental role for you who want to combine technical competence with customer contact and travel.

Location: Borås or Karlskrona

Who are you? You thrive at the intersection of technology, customer contact, and problem-solving. You are structured, take responsibility, and drive your assignments to completion. To succeed in the role, you have:

• A university degree in, for example, mechanical engineering, product development, production technology, or similar
• Some years of experience from areas such as design, product development, manufacturing industry, or testing and certification activities
• Experience working in IT support and business systems
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• A valid driver's license (Category B)
