Formec Teknik is now looking for a designer with project management skills who wants to create smart technical solutions for our customers.

In this role, you will have a varied and developmental daily routine where you work on several projects in parallel. You combine your technical knowledge with a natural drive forward, and you enjoy taking responsibility – both for the details and the big picture.

You are involved from the early stages, helping to prepare technical documentation for quotations, all the way to final delivery. Along the way, you maintain close dialogue with customers, act as technical support for production, and ensure that what we deliver meets high quality standards.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design of molds, press tools, fixtures, and similar
• Prepare technical documentation for quotations
• Create bills of materials and tool specifications prior to production
• Participate in technical meetings for ongoing projects, both internally and with customers
• Responsible for purchasing direct materials and services
• Act as a sounding board and support production with technical questions
• Perform quality control of tools prior to delivery

We are looking for you who:

• Have relevant technical education at upper secondary or post-secondary level, e.g., in mechanical engineering or design.
• Have experience with CAD design within tools, fixtures, or similar
• Have a structured work approach and thrive in driving projects forward
• Are solution-oriented and enjoy tackling technical challenges
• Have good communication skills and thrive in dialogue with both customers and colleagues
• Want to take responsibility and influence both work methods and technical solutions
• Speak and write Swedish and English fluently
