Automation Coordinator for Property Area East
One of our operations offices at a suitable property within the region
With us, you will be part of Sweden's leading property company in security properties. Several of our clients operate in areas that are crucial for our country's security, which places special demands on both the premises and us. We are currently in a strong growth phase, and our project volume is larger than ever before – that’s why we need to grow our team! Welcome to Specialfastigheter!
We are looking for a driven automation coordinator with a strong interest in sustainability and the development of technology. With us, you will have the opportunity to influence property automation at a high level, improve building performance, and optimize indoor climate – all to reduce unnecessary costs and climate impact. We seek someone who wants to be a key player in our automation work and in our efforts to achieve our energy and climate goals.
About the Position
As an automation coordinator, you will work with control and monitoring as well as automation for increased operational reliability and optimization of building performance and indoor climate. A clear focus in the role is on continuous development where you continuously seek and investigate new technical opportunities. A significant part of the position is to inspire, support, and develop the operational technicians within your area of expertise. You will therefore work closely with our operational technicians and energy coordinators. You will also collaborate with our technical managers and operations managers on both large and small management issues as well as various development issues and projects to achieve our energy, climate, and security goals. The role may also involve project management responsibilities for dedicated automation projects.
Your area of responsibility includes all properties within the property area East, which is east and west of Lake Vättern. You will be based in the Linköping region and report directly to the property area manager and be part of the property area's management team.
Your main tasks include:
- Support the property area regarding object knowledge, operations, planned maintenance, own investments, and energy optimizations.
- Participate in the work of energy optimization at the properties.
- Prepare investment cases for automation projects.
- Act as expert support in various construction and management projects as well as in ongoing management.
- Actively work with the follow-up of property automation.
- Contribute with expertise, procure, and participate in projects within property automation and set requirements based on management needs.
- Identify maintenance needs for the maintenance plan for each property.
- Evaluate emerging, recurring alarms and propose and implement actions after decisions.
- Plan, initiate, and drive the continued development of digital rounds for operational optimization, etc.
We are continuously working to improve our working methods and routines in close collaboration with our customers and our internal and external project managers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you have:
- Post-secondary education in energy and property automation or similar
- Several years of professional experience in property technology, preferably as an installer or similar with experience from working with media meters, measurement plans, and similar.
- Experience in installation coordination and preferably also project management.
- Good overall technical competence and a genuine interest in working with property technology and specifically property automation.
- Experience working with property-specific programs.
- Good social skills and a service-oriented approach as you will have a lot of contact with various employees
- A valid driver's license (B) is required
It is advantageous if you have experience working with security properties, automation, sustainability issues, and/or environmental building.
As a person, you enjoy challenges, collaboration with teams and colleagues, and thrive in a role with a lot of personal responsibility. You are analytical and structured and good at seeing the big picture and connections. You feel confident in your competence and enjoy sharing it with others. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
Location
You will belong to our office in Linköping. Since our properties are spread across almost all of Östergötland, half of Småland, and Västergötland, travel is included in the position, sometimes with occasional overnight stays. The place of employment can be discussed if your residence is closer to another property within the Property Area.
Application
The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start. The application deadline is 2026-03-29. We welcome your application!
