We are now strengthening our South Solutions department in Gothenburg with an Electrical Designer.

Omexom South Solutions delivers turnkey contracts for the renovation or new construction of transformer stations in the voltage range of 12-400 kV. The unit primarily works with indoor stations up to 145 kV. ABOUT THE ROLE

You will design either new or renovation/construction of facilities for transmission and distribution networks.

• Electrical design of secondary equipment and other equipment from manufacturers such as Hitachi, ABB, and Siemens.

• Development of system solutions, cabinet documentation, relay protection configuration, remote communication, and control equipment primarily for indoor switchgear.

• Design and documentation of solutions, cable/connection tables, and components.

• Preparation of installation documentation and final documentation.

• Assistance during testing at the installation site.

• Customer specifications guide the design of the facility, and customer and supplier meetings are a natural part of the work. Delivery projects are led by a project manager.

Travel with overnight stays may occur in the position. As an Electrical Designer, you will report to the Business Unit Manager.

YOUR PROFILE You have several years of experience as an Electrical Designer within distribution and regional networks. Furthermore, you are familiar with various types of CAD tools and have documented experience with relay protection and their functions. You hold a university degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, possess a valid driver's license (B), have a good command of English, and can express yourself fluently in Swedish.

As a person, you are meticulous and structured, with a keen eye for detail and quality. You are a problem solver who enjoys analyzing and finding smart solutions when challenges arise. You are communicative and collaborative, which makes you thrive in team environments and maintain contact with customers. You are flexible and proactive, ready to handle changes and take initiatives when needed. Additionally, you are interested in technology and like to stay updated to develop your skills.
