The Varberg Tunnel is complete and Gothenburg is getting a new central station - we need your expertise in water and ventilation! As a project manager, you will contribute to a robust road and railway facility that enables travel and transport for thousands every day, all year round.

Project Manager Water/Ventilation for Maintenance Unit

The Infrastructure Systems project unit is one of six project units within the Western Maintenance Region. The unit is responsible for technical systems related to roads and railways and drives projects to maintain, manage the lifecycle, and continuously develop existing equipment. As the West Link is completed, the Infrastructure Systems unit will receive and manage facility components that include water and ventilation systems such as drainage systems, heating/cooling, fire water systems, general ventilation, and smoke evacuation.

The design of the position will be adapted to the section's needs in connection with the handover of the West Link. This means that the person who takes on the position will participate in and be responsible for parts of the position's design. This means you will have great opportunities to participate in and influence how parts of the position are shaped.

As a project manager, you will for example:

• Participate and support the organization in the design of maintenance for the received facility. (initially the central station, then the entire West Link)
• Manage and lead contract agreements for operation and maintenance as well as reinvestment.
• Ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal work instructions
• Participate in the development of business plans and forecasting work
• Be responsible for continuity and safety work for relevant systems
• Be responsible for preventive and proactive work regarding product vulnerabilities and risk analyses

As a project manager, you will work with your team on projects from planning, through implementation, to completion with a focus on water and ventilation in railways, but other types of technical systems or facilities may also be included in the area of responsibility. You will be responsible for and drive designated projects within the relevant technical area, but will also support other projects to maintain the set goals in the Swedish Transport Administration's facilities and operations.

This means you have financial responsibility for the projects and continuously follow up on operations against set goals regarding time, cost, and content. This includes planning, budgeting, and conducting procurements as well as following up and being responsible for the management of contracted contractors and suppliers.

We are looking for someone who has

• university or college education with a technical focus of 180 credits or equivalent work experience
• several years of current experience in project management/project control within industry, process facilities, or infrastructure, with responsibility for business, forecasting, and cost follow-up
• current experience working with larger pumping facilities and water systems
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• driver's license for passenger cars

It is advantageous if you have current experience in

• building organization, follow-up structure, and working methods from the ground up, e.g., within the framework of a more extensive project or management operation
• calculation, forecasting, and cost follow-up related to contracting operations, as a client or contractor
• working with larger ventilation systems and/or smoke evacuation
• managing procurements and contracts according to general regulations (AB/ABT)
• managing contracts according to ABFF
• leading and organizing in public operations, where you have worked in accordance with LOU
• leading both internal and external resources in a breadth of project or operational groups with good results
