About the Role:

As a Test Engineer, you are an important part of the product development process. You are responsible for testing and verifying the product's performance, analyzing results, and contributing to improvements and further development.

You will work both independently and in close collaboration with Product Managers, Product Developers, and other Test Engineers within the high-pressure hydraulics range. The role involves a broad internal network, and you support the organization in both ongoing work and development projects.

Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities include:

• Conducting tests and analyses of new and existing products.
• Performing technical investigations and documenting test results.
• Creating test plans and executing their activities in product development projects.
• Calibrating measuring instruments and testing equipment.
• Maintaining and repairing the department's testing equipment.
• Developing new testing methods and creating new test equipment as needed.

Profile:

We are looking for someone who is structured, meticulous, and analytical. You enjoy working methodically but are also driven by curiosity and the desire to understand how and why something works – or does not work.

You have the ability to combine practical work in a testing environment with technical analysis and appreciate the dialogue with the development team regarding improvements and solutions. You take responsibility for your tasks and contribute to a good team spirit through an open and collaborative working style.

Qualifications:

• Technical education with a focus on mechanical engineering at the high school, college, or university level.
• Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience in control and regulation technology.
• Meritorious with experience in data collection via sensors and computer-based systems.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

Other:

You will report to one of our group managers within the FluidTech division. The employment is permanent with a start date according to agreement.
