ABOUT THE POSITION

You will be part of a small, close-knit team of five people that acts as the central link between R&D and Operations. The team is responsible for translating developed solutions into functioning production, driving changes, ensuring quality, and developing production processes. Here, you will work closely with both development engineers, purchasing, quality, and external suppliers – making the role perfect for you who thrives with many points of contact and being the hub in technical flows.

The workplace is located in southern Gothenburg and is characterized by a warm and unpretentious culture where ideas are encouraged and improvements are welcomed. The company operates globally and collaborates with suppliers in Sweden, Germany, and China, which means you will work in an international environment with high quality demands and advanced technology.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role where you can take your own initiatives, drive improvements, and turn technical challenges into concrete solutions. You have a genuine interest in electronics and technology, and feel confident in understanding how products are built and how changes affect both quality and production. The role suits you if you are action-oriented – someone who likes to make things happen while building good relationships with both internal teams and external partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide production support and be a technical expert for internal and external production flows
  • Drive process and product changes, from needs analysis to implementation
  • Act as project manager for the introduction of new products into production
  • Update and manage technical specifications in PDM systems
  • Maintain ongoing contact with international subcontractors
  • Perform root cause analyses and initiate corrective actions
  • Work with quality assurance of both products and manufacturing processes

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a BSc or MSc in production engineering, mechanical engineering, Supply Chain Management, electrical engineering, or similar
  • Has a few years of experience in a similar role – or is a recent graduate with strong technical understanding and the right drive
  • Thrives in a role where you combine technology, problem-solving, and communication
  • Is self-driven, structured, and used to planning your own work
  • Is communicative and confident in leading forums and driving changes
  • Is fluent in Swedish both spoken and written and has good knowledge of English

It is a merit if you have experience in electronics production, working with subcontractors, or improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S). Experience with CAD (e.g., SolidWorks), PDM systems, or 3D printing is also positive but not a requirement.

To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:

  • Initiative-taking
  • Responsible
  • Goal-oriented
