PLC Programmer at Granitor Systems

ABOUT THE POSITION
As a PLC programmer at Granitor Systems, you play a key role in the execution of automation projects within industry, energy, and infrastructure. The role encompasses the entire automation chain, from early technical investigations and system design to programming and commissioning of facilities at the customer site. The unique aspect of the role is that you follow the projects from idea to finished solution, giving you a clear overall perspective on both technology, functionality, and customer benefit.
Your main task is to develop robust and efficient automation solutions tailored to each project's specific needs. Daily work includes programming PLC and HMI systems for both new and existing facilities, as well as active participation in commissioning. Projects vary in size and complexity, which means a diverse work environment where analytical skills, problem-solving, and technical depth are combined with practical work in the field.
You will work closely with project managers and colleagues from various technical areas and be an important part of the project team throughout the execution. In this role, you contribute with technical choices, engage in discussions about solutions, and participate in or lead commissioning. The role involves significant responsibility and good opportunities for influence, while you become part of a competent and committed team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous development are integral parts of daily life.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a few years of work experience as a PLC programmer or automation engineer
- Has experience with Siemens PLC systems, such as STEP 7 Classic and/or TIA Portal
- Has a relevant technical education in electrical engineering, automation, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience
- Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Holds a B driver's license as travel is included in the position
