Are you a property manager who combines structure and theory with action in everyday life? Do you also enjoy meeting young people and working in a team? Then you might be the one we are looking for to manage and develop our school property.

The beautiful Strömma Naturbrukscentrum AB is located in Marks municipality and has good commuting options. The school offers agricultural education at the upper secondary level with a focus on farming, horses, and animal care. The school, which originally is a manor house, consists of about 40 buildings ranging from traditional classrooms to animal barns and workshops.

About the position

In the role of property manager, you will be responsible for maintenance and renovation work, either independently or together with our caretaker. You will oversee the operation, care, and maintenance of the property. You will also be responsible for soliciting bids for larger renovations of our buildings. You will maintain ongoing contact with contractors, lead, and follow up on ongoing and completed work. You will have financial responsibility for property operations.

Since your work will also involve working with students, we place great importance on your personal qualities. You will work closely with other staff and school management and strive to build a well-functioning team.

About you

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of property management, finance, administration, and is flexible and solution-oriented both practically and on the computer. You have a natural drive to develop the operations and contribute to creating a positive work environment. To succeed in this role, it is important that you are organized and communicative, have a good ability to identify areas for improvement, and prioritize and make well-founded decisions.

Qualifications

· Practical and theoretical experience in property management.

· Post-secondary education in property management or another equivalent field.
