Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a music and English teacher for grades 4-6 to Annebergsskolan!

You will be part of a team of teachers who together plan and are responsible for the students' education and development, as well as deciding on any needs for subject integration in your classes. The focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and reliable environment. You will teach students in grades 3-6, where you educate and support them in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. At Annebergsskolan, you will be offered, together with your very skilled colleagues, opportunities for development, exciting assignments, and work in modern facilities. As a music teacher, you are an important part of the school's joint activities such as graduations, Lucia celebrations, and similar events.

Qualifications

You who apply are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach grades 4-6 in the subjects of music and English. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we consider it an asset. You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you possess good didactic and pedagogical skills, allowing you to lead and organize your work to create studies and a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional attitude and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school. To fit as a primary school teacher with us, it is important that you are attentive, communicative, and cooperative, and that you enjoy solving things and working together in teams and with students.

Annebergsskolan is a newly built three-parallel F-6 school in the Stadion area in central Malmö. Currently, we have about 540 students, many of whom also attend the after-school program.
