Welcome to Höjaskolan!

In the role of a teacher, you will teach in our two classes in grade 1 in parallel with a colleague, primarily focusing on MA/NO/Tk. As a primary school teacher at Höjaskolan, you are responsible for planning, teaching, and assessment. You develop and evaluate the educational activities in accordance with the curriculum and other governing documents. You find strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth. You stimulate students' development and learning and prepare them for further education. At Höjaskolan, you will follow the students from grade F to grade 3 on an organizational level. Collaboration occurs in work teams and in other constellations.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a certified teacher with qualifications for teaching grades F-3 in SvA and SO subjects. It is an advantage if you have MU in your degree and one or more other subjects. You should have experience working in F-3 previously, and it is advantageous if you have experience teaching in preschool class.

You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their school day.

Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional approach and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

As a primary school teacher at Höjaskolan, you need to have excellent collaboration skills. You need to work closely in different teams and also be able to work independently to a high degree. You are solution-focused and driven by challenges. You need to have a clear focus on students' development, both social development and knowledge development.

Höjaskolan is a dual-parallel F-9 school in Malmö. The school has a mixed student body that reflects the city of Malmö as a whole.
