Akademi Båstad offers vocational training in higher vocational education and vocational adult education, with approximately 400 students.

Would you like to help teach our gardening courses? Our ambition is to conduct high-quality training and continuously develop the programs in line with the ongoing changes in the gardening industry.

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a school with an open climate where we work together to match our students with the demands of the labor market. Our gardening team works in a creative environment with varied tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and being responsible for the education, as well as teaching some of the courses:

• The biology of soil and plants
• Garden cultivation
• Plant knowledge 1 and 2
• Pruning and tree care
• Maintenance of outdoor environments
• Garden design
• Vehicles and tools.

As a gardening teacher, you will organize and coordinate the learning in the program together with the work team. You will keep up with developments in the gardening industry. Administration and travel as part of the job may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We believe you have post-secondary education in gardening (higher vocational education, university, or college) and/or experience from the gardening industry.

You need to meet the following criteria:

• Interest in and practical experience of the gardening profession.
• Practical experience in teaching and/or an interest in developing pedagogical skills.
• Good IT skills. Experience with Teams is an advantage.
• Driver's license B.
