JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for substitutes for the municipality's preschools. Working with children is fun, developing, and meaningful, but it can also be challenging. It requires personal maturity, such as being able to remain calm even in critical situations, helping children manage setbacks and conflicts, and respecting children's integrity.

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure children's safety, care, and security throughout the day. You will follow the regular staff's planning and routines, participate in children's play and activities, both indoors and outdoors, and support children in everyday situations such as meals, hygiene, dressing, and resting.

You need to be a safe and present adult in the children's group.

QUALIFICATIONS

The basic requirement is that you have completed a high school education. It is an advantage if you have attended the Child and Leisure Program or have started a preschool teacher education.

We welcome multilingual candidates, but it is a requirement to understand and be understood verbally in Swedish. You should be able to communicate in Swedish with the youngest children in preschool and on the phone with adults.

To work as a substitute in preschool, it is important that you have a good ability to collaborate and are calm and responsive in your interactions. You take responsibility and have the ability to make decisions based on well-founded considerations and priorities.

Before employment, a valid extract from the criminal record must be presented.
