Job Responsibilities

We work in specialist teams, but the work is independent, and you make your own assessments within your profession. This requires the ability to organize your working time but also provides the opportunity to influence your workday.

As a member of the rheumatology team, you will participate in work with intensive rehabilitation periods aimed at patients with rheumatic diagnoses, with a focus on joint diseases. You will have outpatient work, new diagnosis reception, as well as patients in inpatient care.

Your tasks include assessing and treating the activity ability of patients with rheumatological diseases. A large part of the work consists of assessing and treating functional impairments in the hands. The work also includes ADL assessment/training, hand training, orthoses, ergonomics, and activity balance. Treatment is conducted in groups and individually. It also includes supervising occupational therapy students from the university.
