We are continuing to recruit nurses as part of our goal to open more care places in the Medical Clinic! Today we have 18 care places, on weekdays we work in three care teams during the day and evening while on weekends and nights we work in two care teams. Our care place goal, which we hope to reach by 2026, is 28 care places distributed over four care teams.

Lindesberg Hospital is one of the three acute hospitals in Örebro County. Nurse Night, Medical Department 1 Lindesberg Hospital

In the medical department, you will meet adult patients with medical conditions and diagnoses across the entire medical field. Our primary catchment area is the northern part of the county. With us, you will gain a broad knowledge base where you continue to develop in your professional role, whether you are new to the role or not. The department offers a varied job where you as a nurse need to be able to switch between planned work and acute interventions.

The department has a supervising nurse present on weekdays to support you and your colleagues in daily work. Together, an individual introduction is planned based on your experiences and conditions. You will work in a team with our nursing assistants and with doctors. During weekdays, we also work in teams with the paramedical resources. We also have discharge coordinators, receptionists, and personnel coordinators present during the day.

At Lindesberg Hospital, we have a Clinical Training Center (KTC) that offers various training programs. Once you are settled into the work on the department, there is an opportunity to take on specific areas of responsibility that allow you to continue developing in your professional role.

About the Position:

The first part of the introduction takes place during the day and evening so that you can gain good knowledge of the department's routines at all hours of the day. Based on the needs of the operation, individual schedule planning is applied. Work shifts can, according to agreement, be scheduled for all shifts, every day of the week. There is an opportunity for rotation between night and day/evening.
