We at the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care are now looking for two junior doctors who are proactive in their own knowledge acquisition, independent but with the ability to recognize their limitations.

The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care operates in three hospitals and has a wide clinical breadth. Additionally, research and education at various levels for several professional groups are conducted. Research and education are important to us at the clinic, and we invest in its continued development. We currently have about 60 doctors, of which just over 20 are residents. Several of these will soon become specialists, and we are therefore looking for new ones. The clinic has a total of about 450 employees. We would like to welcome you to join us for work in anesthesia and intensive care.

The Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care operates at the region's three hospitals: Örebro University Hospital, Karlskoga Hospital, and Lindesberg Hospital. It is a large department with approximately 400 employees. Our areas of work include anesthesia, intensive care, surgical services (postoperative and day surgery), and a neuro-intermediate unit. At Karlskoga Hospital, there is an anesthesia department, an intensive care unit, and a postoperative unit.

The job responsibilities include, among others, work in the operating room, intensive care unit, pain management unit, and on-call work. Teaching medical students and other professional groups is part of the job responsibilities.

About the Position:

The employment is a fixed-term position for 8 months with the possibility of continued permanent employment, full-time. You will start working as a resident with an assigned supervisor. Work will take place at all three hospitals in Region Örebro County: Örebro University Hospital, Lindesberg Hospital, and Karlskoga Hospital.

Selection and interviews will take place shortly after the application deadline has passed and will be ongoing.
