Dietitian summer temporary position 2026, Örebro University Hospital Job Responsibilities

As a dietitian with us, you will work with both outpatient and inpatient care. You will conduct nutritional assessments, prescriptions, and provide dietary advice to our patients, which includes everything from regular food and nutritional drinks to enteral and parenteral nutrition.

You will collaborate with other professionals in our units such as social workers, speech therapists, doctors, nurses, and other staff. As a dietitian, you are also a support for other healthcare staff regarding nutritional issues. There is close cooperation with the county's dietitians, but in daily work, you will work independently. You will, of course, receive orientation and guidance from dietitian colleagues.

We are looking for someone who is a licensed dietitian or who is in the final stages of their dietitian education. It is advantageous if you have experience working with enteral and parenteral nutrition, as well as knowledge of dysphagia and texture modification. You can work independently but also collaborate in interdisciplinary teams. Due to the nature of the department's work, you need to be adaptable as the work can change quickly. Personal qualities such as good empathetic ability and flexibility are important and will be particularly considered.
