We are looking for a psychologist for our northern county area with the workplace located in Lindesberg. The Psychological Reception for Maternal and Child Health Care is a county-wide operation with three district receptions and a reception in Örebro.

The unit offers psychological services to pregnant/expecting parents and parents with children aged 0-6 years. The goals are to promote mental health and prevent mental illness by performing early interventions during pregnancy, infancy, and preschool years, as well as disseminating psychological knowledge about becoming a parent, parenting, and child development in our geographically vast county. The starting point is a salutogenic approach where protective factors are strengthened through high accessibility with early and brief interventions.

The work is very varied! The position includes working with consultations to midwives and child health care nurses in groups and individually, collaborating in child health teams together with the county's preschools, as well as assessments, support, and treatment of expecting parents, parents, and children aged 0-6 years who express a need for help and/or are noticed by midwifery clinics and child health centers.

The Psychological Reception MBHV consists of a group of experienced psychologists who meet regularly for staff meetings, supervision, theme meetings, and training. The work involves travel and requires a driver's license. The workplace in Lindesberg is centrally located in newly renovated premises where you sit together with psychologists working at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Reception. The work as a psychologist within maternal and child health care is a county assignment, which means that the assignment may be transferred to other county areas depending on the needs of the operation.

Licensed psychologist. A requirement is good knowledge of speaking and writing in Swedish. A B driver's license is required for the position.

Knowledge about young children and their development is meritorious, as well as experience in therapeutic and consultative work aimed at parents and professionals with a salutogenic health-promoting approach. The greatest emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as a positive and energetic attitude towards work, ability to collaborate, initiative, flexibility, and independent organizational skills.
