We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping others and is confident in their professional role. You will work both at Ekgården elderly home and Fellingsbro home care, together in a team consisting of care staff, nurses, and unit managers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for general and specific rehabilitation in collaboration with nurses, unit managers, and care staff as well as physiotherapists. As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess needs and carry out occupational therapy measures. This includes ADL assessments, performing rehabilitative measures in the form of activity training, prescribing assistive devices, and assessing the need for housing adaptations. The work involves working with national quality registers for increased quality assurance regarding the individual.

You will also document in the journal system and establish rehabilitation plans, participate in care planning/SIP, and guide care staff. Together with other occupational therapy colleagues, you will supervise students and educate in transfer techniques as needed. Furthermore, you will collaborate with nurses, unit managers, and care staff through team meetings and unit meetings.

The position is full-time and temporary. The contract extends until 30/9.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist preferably with work experience and references that can attest to your competence. A driver's license, class B, is required. You are independent both alone and in a group, and you want to do your utmost for the patients. You are confident in your professional role, engaged, helpful, and accommodating. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is also meritorious if you have:

  • Training in lifting and transfer techniques.
  • Experience in educating about lifting and transfer techniques.
  • Familiarity with the operational system Viva.

You need to have a manual B driver's license to work with us.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
